Training course PPE – Personal Protective Equipment
Working in heights - instructions – safe working in heights and rescuing from heights
Training contents:
- Introduction to the Personal Protective Equipment used in the respective work situation
- Basics / definitions according to the European Standards regarding PPE
- Correct application of Personal Protective Equipment (safety harness, rope combinations, fall arresters)
- Correct application of descender devices and rescue lifting devices
- Visual examination of the safety harness and the descender device
- Tutorial: Rescue out of the fall arrester
- Tutorial: Rescue from a platform
At the end of the training, the participant must be able to use the Personal Protective Equipment accordingly, to assign the correct PPE to the particular requirements and to identify damages and defects concerning the PPE, to assess these damages and to make a decision regarding the further use.
Target groups:
Assemblers and service technicians working in the wind energy sector, in telecommunications, construction engineering and high bay warehouses.

At the end of the training, the participant must be able to assess the work safety of Personal Protective Equipment, and accordingly to decide if it can be released for use. Furthermore, the participant must be able to assess work situations and to assign the correct PPE to the particular situation.
Duration of the training and number of participants will be agreed upon with the client in accordance with the contents/focus of the training.
